Description
Mihaela Nightstand
Inspired by the stained interiors of wine barrels, our Mihaela Collection is a masterfully crafted work of art. Each piece is built by a family of artisans using Romanian oak that has been hand-cut from the foothills surrounding their mountain village. Finishes are applied by hand—a closely guarded, secretive process that creates a rich color, accentuating the natural textures and organic grain patterns of the wood.

· Frames are craftsman-built from solid Romanian oak sustainably harvested by our artisan partners.
· Hand-carved detailing is artfully painted to appear as metallic brass accents.
· Each finishing process takes three days to complete per piece. Using water to open the wood’s grain, finishes are able to penetrate the full thickness of solid wood surfaces.
· Nightstand drawers feature push-to-open functionality and premium under-mounted, soft-close glides.

· We carefully inspect and pack each piece before shipment
· Full support provided during the warranty period and beyond

The Varenhome Standard
True quality lies in the details. Here is how we craft a fixture that lasts a decade, not just a season.
✔ Our Standard
✖ Market Average
Material
Best Choice
Solid Brass
Standard Iron
Prone to corrosion and oxidation. Lifespan typically limited to 1-2 years before visible rust appears.
Crystal
K9 Optical Crystal
Maximum brilliance and clarity. Offers a high refractive index that captures and sparkles like diamond-cut glass.
Acrylic/Low-end Glass
Cloudy appearance. Scratches easily and loses transparency over time due to heat exposure.
Glass
Hand-Blown Glass
Superior light transmission and unique textures. Each piece is an artisan creation with no visible mold lines.
Machine-Made Glass
Thin and fragile. Often exhibits distortion and dull light diffusion that cheapens the room's atmosphere.
